Pro versus Enterprise Editions

Volume Licensing

Allows customers to obtain discounted licenses for various version of software, in this case Microsoft Windows, by purchasing large amounts of a software product direclty from the provider or from a vendor. Microsoft Windows Enterprise and Microsoft Windows Education can only be purchased through volume licensing.

Windows Pro Workstation Edition

The Windows Pro Workstation Edition has all of the same features as the Home Edition but allows for larger RAM allocation and advanced technologies such as persistent system RAM (NVDIMM).
